- The most flexible discount on the board — any length, a wide date window — attached to a downtown rate that competes with itself in the cheapest weeks of the New York year.

Orientation
Casa Cipriani occupies the Battery Maritime Building, the old ferry terminal at the foot of Manhattan where the Staten Island Ferry still lands next door. That address is the entire argument: you are on the harbour, with the Brooklyn Bridge to the east, Governor’s Island a short hop, and Wall Street a few minutes north. You are also a long way from Midtown.
This is the part of New York people forget when they book: the southern tip is quiet at night, the ferries are the transport, and a harbour-facing room looks at water rather than another building’s air conditioning.
When to go
The travel window runs from January 1st to July 31st 2027, which is a wide and useful slice. It takes in the cheapest weeks of the New York year, when January and February rates fall through the floor, and the best ones, when May and June make the parks worth the walk.
Because the discount applies to any length of stay, this is one of the few offers here where two nights qualify. A winter weekend is the obvious use; a long June weekend is the better one.
If your week is Broadway and the Upper East Side, this is the wrong end of the island.
What this trip covers
$840 a night against a comparison of $1,050 is 20 per cent, or $210 a night. What that buys is a room in a members’ club with beds rather than a hotel with a lobby: smaller, quieter, and with the spa access the listing names. It is a downtown stay for people who have already done Midtown.
The trade is location, and it is a real trade. Every trip north costs twenty minutes. If your week is the ferry, the harbour, the Seaport and a walk across the bridge, there is nothing better placed. If your week is a show every night, you will spend the saving on cars.
Read before you book
$840 is a starting rate and the listing does not name a room category. In a building like this the entry category is often the small room at the back; harbour-facing rooms price above the headline, and the 20 per cent applies to whichever rate you book rather than to the entry rate specifically.
New York room tax and any destination fee sit outside a quoted room rate, and the feed does not include them. Nor does it say whether breakfast is in the rate — at this level that is worth asking before you compare it with a Midtown rate that throws breakfast in.
One more thing worth noticing: the deadline is November 9th and the stay window does not open until January 1st. You are being asked to commit two months before the first eligible night. That is normal for this kind of rate, and it still means the offer is priced for certainty rather than for you.
